Sapna is a small municipality in northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Administratively, it is part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tuzla Canton. Before the Bosnian War, Sapna used to be part of the Zvornik municipality. But as a result of the Dayton Agreement, the Zvornik municipality was divided in two between the two entities, so Sapna became a municipality itself, comprising the half of the Zvornik municipality that remained in the Federation. The other two large villages in the Sapna municipality are Rastosnica and Vitinica. Before the war, Sapna had a population of 3761, with Bosniaks making up about 80% of the population, with the rest mainly being Serbs. It is not known exactly how many people live now in the town and the municipality of Sapna since there has not been a census since 1991. But most estimates have the population at slightly more than 10,000 people, most of whom are Bosniaks.

'Sapna' is a sanskrit or Hindi word meaning 'dream'. It is also used as a female name in India.
