"School" is a song by the grunge band Nirvana. It is the fourth song on their 1989 album, “Bleach.” The song was written by Kurt Cobain (credited as Kurdt Kobain).

The song was written about Sub Pop and the "Seattle Scene" at the time. According to Cobain, the song "started out as a joke but turned out to be a really good song". The lyrics to the song consist of 15 words.

The main riff in the song shares a resemblance to the main riff in Soundgarden's "Hunted Down" from their EP "Screaming Life" and both songs have the same duration, both at 2:42.
