Scott Columbus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scott Columbus is the drummer of Manowar. He was found in a foundry, Lagoe Castings, in Oswego, NY, pouring liquid aluminium. At one point he had to leave the band because his son was ill and he was replaced by Rhino, but was back in time to play the drums on "Return of the warlord".

It's known that he has been kicked out of all his previous bands for playing too loud.[citation needed]

Its also known that he plays his drums with such power that standard kits had to be replaced too regularly. Hence his "drums of doom" were created, using panels of aluminium to reinforce them for the heavy touring.[citation needed]
