ScriptLogic was originally founded in 1997. With tremendous growth and proliferation of Windows based networks, the company filled a significant need for network administrators, that is the need to reduce or eliminate the burden of writing and managing logon scripts to configure user desktops, a process called configuration management.

In recent years, ScriptLogic has significantly enhanced the product functionality of its configuration management product from a logon script replacement tool to become a complete desktop configuration management solution, with its Desktop Authority 7.5 product.

Today, administrators around the world use ScriptLogic's Desktop Authority solution to manage all aspects of a users environment at an extremely granular level.
