Sean Considine, is a National Football League safety for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is a second-year player out of the University of Iowa. Considine was a walk-on starter who worked his way up to an honorable mention in the All-Big Ten team his senior year.

Considine spent the early part of his 2005 rookie season working on special teams but suffered a shoulder injury and went down for the rest of the season. However, he received a chance to start in 2006 against Tampa Bay after Michael Lewis was demoted. He has remained as the starter at strong safety. His first career interception was a pick of Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Schaub.
