Senawang is a town located in the district of Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

Senawang is situated about 7 kilometres from Seremban town. It is located in a higher level flat terrain than other towns in Seremban. The terrain is suitable for industrial.
A light industrial park was built in Senawang. It is one of the largest industrial parks in Malaysia.
After the opening of Senawang Industrial Park, many developers built residential places to please the needs of industrial workers. One of the earliest is Taman Marida and followed by others that included:
- Taman Rasa Sayang
- Taman Senawang Jaya
- Taman Cempaka
- Taman Ros Mewah
- Taman Satria
- Taman Seri Pagi
- Matahari Heights
- Senawang Park City
The increasing of residents in Senawang urged schools to be built. Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Senawang was built followed by Sekolah Kebangsaan Senawang. Then other schools were built:
- SK Taman Seri Mawar
- SK Taman Seri Pagi
- SMK Taman Seri Pagi (formerly SMK Senawang 2)

High number of residents in Senawang attracted developers to build commercial parks. The most notable is Senawang Commercial Park (known as Dataran Senawang). Giant Hypermarket was built and now being the main attraction in Senawang.
State Coach monopolized shuttle bus service in Senawang.
KTMB proposed to expand monorail service to Senawang.
