Shangri-La is a song recorded by Electric Light Orchestra.

The ninth and final song from the 1976 album A New World Record, Shangri-La is a ballad about lost love with an extended fade out – like The Beatles on Hey Jude, as the lyrics acknowledge – and reprise. The lyrics also seem to pre-shadow Out of the Blue. Mary Thomas (Rockaria!) appears on the song's reprise.

Until 2000, the song had never been used on a compilation album, when it appeared on Flashback.

Shangri-la in this song means his point of passion, which he has lost.
