She Wants Revenge's sound is influenced by 1980's somber synth and Goth bands like The Cure, Danse Society, Joy Division, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode and Suicide. The lyrical content heavily suggests a tongue-in-cheek parody of teenage angst and high school notebook poetry. The band toured extensively through 2006.
