Shepherd's Bush Station on the Hammersmith and City Line, also known as Shepherd's Bush Metropolitan, is a London Underground station in Travelcard Zone 2, between Goldhawk Road and Latimer Road stations.
The first station of the name opened south of the present location on 13 June 1864 as part of the Metropolitan Railway extension to Hammersmith. The present station replaced it on 1 April 1914. From 1 October 1877 until 31 December 1906 there were also direct services to Richmond.
Shepherd's Bush Central Line Station is an entirely separate London Underground station about half a kilometre west beyond the end of Shepherd's Bush Common. The area near the stations has several popular concert venues, and Loftus Road Stadium which is the home of Queens Park Rangers F.C.. Shepherd's Bush Market lies on the opposite side of the street.
