Shiregreen and Brightside ward—which includes the districts of Brightside, Shiregreen, and Wincobank—is one of the 28 electoral wards in City of Sheffield, England. It is located in the northern part of the city and covers an area of 6.5 km². The population of this ward in 2001 was 20,200 people in 8,200 households. It is one of the wards that make up the Sheffield Brightside constituency.

Brightside (grid reference SK375898) is an industrial area of Sheffield, lying north of Attercliffe.
Sheffield Brightside is also the name of one of Sheffield's six Parliamentary constituencies.
Shiregreen (grid reference SK370930) is a mainly residential area to the north of the Northern General Hospital and north-west of Meadowhall.
Wincobank (grid reference SK383913) is a suburb of Sheffield, located in the north-east of the city, close to the Meadowhall shopping centre and the M1 motorway.
An Iron Age hill fort was constructed at Wincobank by the Celtic Brigantes tribe, standing on the summit of a steep hill above the River Don. It is possible that here, during the 1st century, the Brigantes attempted to defend against the northward advance of the Roman legions. An ancient defensive dyke called Roman Ridge runs from the fort to Mexborough.
Wincobank is home to St Thomas Boxing school which has produced some of Britain's best boxers of recent years including Naseem Hamed, Herol 'Bomber' Graham and Johnny Nelson.
