Show Me Heaven

Show Me Heaven is a popular single by Maria McKee.

Written by Joshua Rifkin, Eric Rankin and Maria McKee and produced by Paul Stavely O'Duffy, Show Me Heaven was McKee's sole number one single in the United Kingdom. The theme song to the Tom Cruise movie Days of Thunder it was a massive hit in the UK spending four weeks at the top of chart in September 1990. The song failed to chart in the USA, only managing #28 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

Although it was her only number one as a performer, her song A Good Heart was taken to number one in November 1985 by Feargal Sharkey.

Swedish pop singer Cecilia Vennersten covered the song on her 1995 album Cecilia Vennersten, in Swedish as "Sjunde himlen finns".
