Sioux Falls Stampede

The Sioux Falls Stampede are a Tier 1 junior ice hockey team playing in the West Division of the United States Hockey League (USHL).

The Stampede's home ice is the Sioux Falls Arena.

-The Sioux Falls Stampede is a USHL team located in Sioux Falls, SD. In the 2005-2006 season, they won the Anderson Cup Award for the best regular season record. The stampede advanced in the playoffs, winning the Western Division Title, but lost to one of their rivals, the Des Moines Buccaneers in the Clark Cup Finals.

Current NHLers Thomas Vanek (Buffalo Sabres) and Chad LaRose (Carolina Hurricanes), have played for the Stampede. Vanek, from 1999 to 2002 and LaRose, from 1999 to 2001.
