Sneaky Sound System is a Sydney-based Australian dance group consisting of Tom Doolan, Connie Mitchell on vocals, Black Angus (Angus McDonald) (chief songwriter and producer), and MC Double D (Daimon Downey). In 2004, Black Angus and MC Double D decided to start their own record label, Whack Recordings. After hooking up with recording engineer/producer Peter Dolso, they set up a studio in Bondi Beach called The Whack House, and set about making their own music. Their first release was Hip Hip Hooray, which quickly gained support from local DJ's and radio stations alike, becoming a cult hit.

All was going well, but the search for a super-hot defying vocalist was not going so well. Then one day in Hyde Park in Sydney, Angus and MC Double D met this beautiful girl with a beautiful voice - Miss Connie, formerly of the band Primary. She came down to The White House and produced the vocals for their new self titled album. Which produced such hits as "I Love It" which appeared on the charts: "I Love It" peaked at #5 on the Australian Dance Chart and went on to enter the Australian Top 50 Singles and Digital Download charts. And their follow up single "Pictures" has become Sneaky Sound System's biggest hit to date, the original mix peaking at #19 on the ARIA Singles Chart and the Tonite Only remix at #1 on the ARIA Club Chart.

The band's self-titled second album failed to chart in the Top 50 upon its release, but as the band received more exposure with "I Love It" and "Pictures" both making an impact on the ARIA charts, Sneaky Sound System entered the Top 50 at number 44 on January 1st, 2007.

In late 2005, the band performed as a supporting act for Jamiroquai, and in late 2006 they received large publicity by performing as the support act for Robbie Williams during his Close Encounters Tour of Australia, often playing to crowd sizes of over 60,000 in attendance, whilst also performing at the Face Of Perth 2007. They also performed as the support act to the Scissor Sisters during their 2007 Australian Tour.
