Spellbound

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spellbound may refer to:

  • SpellBound (spell checker), a spell checker for Mozilla Firefox
  • Spellbound (computer game), a ZX Spectrum/Commodore 64 computer game starring Magic Knight
  • Spellbound (company), is a German computer game development company, founded by Armin Gessert in 1994
  • A modern idium, the original use referring to varying degrees of lacking attention, from the every day morning stare, to catatonic patience, people in olden times often attributed this passing or permanent distraction to spell, with varying degrees of faith that magic actually had a hand in it. The severity of the case usually had a hand in seriously it was used. In modern time all faith has been replaced by good humour, someone spellbound is utterly facinated by something (like a book, or a song) to the point it might look like he or she was 'bound by a spell' to that instance/article. While modern society still uses the term, few to none even consider magic or its root in using it.
