St. Michael's Church of England High School

St Michael's Church of England High School is a comprehensive school located in Crosby, Merseyside. Formerly known as Manor High School, the school also has a Sixth Form. The current headteacher is Mrs Yvonne Sharples as of 1st January 2007.

The School has 5 Computer Rooms available for Students, a Science Department, a Sports Hall and a Gym.

The school's Missionary Statement is: 'We will ensure that each individual is valued and achieves success within a caring Christian community.'

As of 2007 the school teaches at AS Level: English Language, English Literature, Religious Studies (Philosophy & Ethics), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Physical Education, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Art, Graphics and Business Studies.

The school was scheduled for an Ofsted inspection over 2 days 12th-13th March 2007. The School was very happy with the results, but the official report has not yet been released.
