Stockport County fans

Stockport County Football Club recently registered their own fans as an official member of their squad, the number 12, as a reference to the fans being known as the "twelfth man" based on the fact that the supporters in the stadium on a match day can sometimes influence the match just as much as a player on the pitch.

Reading were the first club to register their fans, taking the number 13 shirt. Portsmouth followed suit, dedicating the number 12 shirt to the fans.

The officially registered name for County's number 12 shirt is 'Blue And White Army'.
