Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot is a 1992 comedy film starring Sylvester Stallone, Estelle Getty and JoBeth Williams. Critically panned, it was awarded three Golden Raspberry awards, including Worst Actor.
On Fox Sports' The Best Damn Sports Show Period, Stallone was a guest when another guest, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Booger MacFarland told Stallone that he saw this film in the theater and that Stallone owed him $20. Stallone paid up.
Reviews for the film were overwhelmingly negative. It has a 6% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. Film critic Roger Ebert's review declared: "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot is one of those movies so dimwitted, so utterly lacking in even the smallest morsel of redeeming value, that you stare at the screen in stunned disbelief." Gene Siskel said "If this doesn’t turn out to be one of the very worst movies of the year, it’s going to be a very bad year."
