Subhash Ghai has a tendency to overpublicize his films and this combined with the success of most of his films has hampered the box office success of his latest movies. Ghai himself admitted that he created too much anticipation.
Still, actors Hritikh Roshan and Kareena Kapoor said that working on Yaadein was a gratifying experience and that Ghai is an immensely talented director.
Subhash Ghai generally appears in one shot of every movie he makes. It could be just a line in the middle of a song, but is typically very short and irrelevant to the movie.
