Subok (titled The Wedding Curse internationally) is a 2006 Star Cinema film starring Kris Aquino and Claudine Barretto. The movie was directed by Chito Rono who Kris worked with in the 2004 hit horror film Feng Shui. It was released on July 28, 2006 and went on to become the highest grossing Filipino film of the year, grossing more than 200 million pesos at the box office (said by Aquino on her talk show The Buzz).

The plot centers around the Philippine belief of wedding curses. In this movie, two long lost sisters- Sandy (Kris Aquino) and Diana (Claudine Barretto) are both confused because each of their family members begin to die and their bodies cannot be found. This happens after their weddings. They must reunite somehow to stop the curse but one of them must make a sacrifice. A detailed overview of the movie will follow.
