Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden

Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden, for the PlayStation is the first sidestory in the Super Robot Wars Alpha series, continuing from Super Robot Wars Alpha.

Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden was the first game in the Super Robot Wars series to feature many of the systems now considered standard, notably the Support Attack system, which has been included in every Super Robot Wars series ever since. The game also included several rare series choices, such as Gundam X, Turn-A Gundam and Xabungle (all of which debuted in the game).

Alpha Gaiden also included the final appearance of the Masoukishin Banpresto Originals in the Alpha series, and the last appearance of the characters besides Masaki and Cybuster, Shu and Granzon, and Lune and Valsione.
