Buff (Arlene Hicks) is a fictional character created for the low-budget Generation X television movie, played by actress Suzanne Davis. She was created to replace Husk, whose powers would have been more expensive to film. Both girls are southern, blonde and insecure.

Buff possessed super-strength. Her mutation caused a great increase in her muscle mass --a fact that she was not happy about. She often tried to hide her body in baggy clothes (in part this may also have been to hide the fact that the actress playing her had a more average build). By the end of the film, she develops self-confidence, signified by being the first to wear the Gen-Xer's new skintight costume. The body double used for Buff's body closeups was not credited.
