Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane is a comic series published by DC Comics focusing on the adventures of Lois Lane.

From the early days, most of the stories revolved around Lois' romantic interest in Superman. A common plot line would involve Lois scheming to maneuver Superman into marriage, only to fail due to a comic plot twist. In the early 1960s Lana Lang made regular guest appearances, generally as Lois' romantic rival.

By the 1970s, the stories began to reflect growing social awareness. Lois became less focused on romance, and more on current issues. For example, issue #106 (Nov. 1970) contained the controversial story "I Am Curious (Black)!", in which Lois uses a machine that temporarily makes her look like an African American woman, allowing her to experience racism firsthand.

The title also featured the first appearance of the Silver Age Rose and the Thorn. She appeared as a back up feature in the comic beginning with issue #105 (Oct. 1970).
