Surat Thani Railway Station (SRT Code: SRN) is the main railway station in Surat Thani Province. It is located on S.R.T. Southern Railway line km. 635+106, on the east bank of Tapi River in Thakham City, Phun Phin district. Surat Thani Station first opened in 1915, and was originally named Phun Phin Station. The name was later changed to "Surat Thani Railway Station".

In World War II, the Japanese used this station as a base for military activity. The station and the Chullachonklao bridge across the Tapi were both bombed in 1942 by American aircraft. The R.S.R. (former name of S.R.T.) built a new station, called Surat Thani 2 Railway Station, on the west bank of Tapi River opposite the old station. This station was demolished after the war, when Surat Thani Station was rebuilt at the old site.

Currently, Surat Thani Railway Station serves 28 trains per day, all of them served by S.R.T.
