Suspended Animation is the first John Petrucci solo album, released on March 1, 2005. It is fully instrumental.

"Jaws of Life" was previously known as I.B.S. (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).

For some unknown reason, the song titled "Curve" is split into two separate tracks on some releases of the CD, with the majority of the song on track six, and the last 55 seconds on track seven. On these copies, "Lost Without You" and "Animate-Inanimate" are tracks 8 and 9 respectively.

All songs by John Petrucci.
