Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA) is a Swedish pulp and paper manufacturer and consumer goods company. It has approximately 50,000 employees and a turnover of approximately 100 billion SEK (10 billion euro). SCA was founded by Ivar Kreuger in 1929 as a holding company for ten Swedish forest industry companies. In 1975 SCA acquired Mölnlycke AB, a leading western European producer of disposable hygiene products, and in 1990 SCA acquired transport packaging company Reedpack. In 1995 the Germany-based paper and packaging company PWA was acquired. In 2001 the US company Georgia-Pacific Tissue was acquired.

SCA Hygiene Australasia manufactures and markets Consumer, Away From Home and Personal Care products including diapers, toilet tissue, facial tissue, napkins, incontinence and feminine hygiene products. Leading SCA Hygiene Australasia brands include Treasures, Sorbent, Purex, Handee, Hygenex, Deeko, Orchid, Libra and TENA. Treasures Babycare was acquired in 2006 from CHH (Carter Holt Harvey) and is now part of the SCA Hygiene Australasia Personal Care division.
