Computer network & system administration
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Computer Network & System Administration (CNSA for short) is a multi-disciplinary major offered at the Michigan Technological University's school of technology. Formed in 2003, CNSA quickly became one of the fastest growing programs offered at MTU, with a hands-on approach that allows its graduates to be fully ready for a career in system administration.
Students enrolled in the CNSA curriculum learn all the skills required to become a system administrator, ranging from installation, management, configuration, maintenance, network security, user support, and data management.
The program is housed in the Electrical Energy Resources Center of the Michigan Tech campus, where students will find all the equipment needed to learn the skills of the trade -- some of which has even been donated by companies supporting this program.
Anyone interested in computing, the internet, or both, is recommended to inquire about the CNSA program at MTU.
