The TCS Confederation is a starship in the Wing Commander universe and the first operation ship of her class. She was commissioned in 26601 and was 983.7 meters long.

The Confederation carried an axial phase transit cannon as her primary heavy weapon, eight antimatter guns to deal with enemy capital ships and three flak cannon to ward off enemy fighters. Her armament was unmatched by any contemporary ship. In addition to this weaponry she carried 120 fighters as her air group2.

However, her phase transit cannon proved unreliable in combat and forced the halt of all Confederation production in 26653. Her exposed fighter runways resulted in an extreme vulnerability to battle damage, as damage from a single torpedo hit (or saboteur's bomb) to either one could disable its launch bay for up to an hour4.

TCS Concordia was the second Confederation-class dreadnought.
