Lockdown is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the month of April. The first one, in 2005, used the revolutionary premise that all matches were to take place in the Six Sides of Steel, which is set to be the standard for future Lockdown pay-per-views.

The original premise was to have two quality cage matches to highlight the gimmick name "Lockdown", but TNA President Dixie Carter switched the format to the now-famous all-steel cage match show. Due to the gimmick it is set to be one of TNA's crown jewel pay-per-view events.
