TVN is a major Polish commercial television network. It is available over the air and on satellite (on one of Eutelsat Hotbirds). The television was started in a current form in 1997 by Mariusz Walter.

TVN belongs to the ITI Group media group, which also owns other channels, notably TVN Siedem, (the successor of the failed RTL 7), the information channel TVN24, TVN CNBC Biznes, business news channels, the weather channel, TVN Meteo, the car channel TVN Turbo, the channel ITVN for Polish speakers in the USA, Germany and Australia, the women's channel TVN Style, the gameshow channel TVN Gra, the sport channel nsport HD, the channel for medicals TVN Med, the lingual channel TVN Lingua, the historical-documentary channel TVN Discovery Historia and the high definition clone of TVN - TVN HD
