Taggia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 110 km southwest of Genoa and about 15 km west of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 12,950 and an area of 30.9 km².^[1]

Taggia borders the following municipalities: Badalucco, Castellaro, Ceriana, Dolcedo, Pietrabruna, Riva Ligure, and Sanremo.
