Tai Po New Town

Tai Po New Town (Traditional Chinese: 大埔新市鎮) is a new town in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong.
The town is designed to be expanded from the old market towns of Tai Po Town of Tai Po Market, Tai Po Old Market and Tai Wo Market. Extensive reclamation was carried out near the mouth of Lam Tsuen River in Tolo Harbour.
The new town is planned to divided between residential and industrial area. Tai Po Industrial Estate in Ting Kok is one of major industrial estates in Hong Kong.
