Taras Bulba is a 1962 film based on Nikolai Gogol's short novel, Taras Bulba, starring Yul Brynner and Tony Curtis as father and son, leaders of a Cossack clan on the Ukrainian steppes. The film was directed by J. Lee Thompson.

It is most well known in quoting the character, Taras Bulba, in saying "Put your faith in your sword, and your sword in a Pole."
