Tea for Two (film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tea for Two was a 1950 film musical starring Doris Day. It is a Technicolor remake of the film and Broadway musical No No Nanette. Most of the songs and the names of the characters remain the same, but the actual plot is completely changed. In the film, Nanette makes a bet with her uncle, J. Maxwell Bloomhaus, that she cannot refrain from saying "Yes" for an entire weekend. If she wins the bet, he will give her enough money to take a trip to New York so that she can audition for a show. Her subsequent "No" to every question and request asked of her gets Nanette into all sorts of complications, including a rift with her boyfriend.
