Teen Kanya (Tales of Three girls) is a film which was released in 1961, directed by Satyajit Ray, and based upon short stories by Rabindranath Tagore. When the film was originally released, it contained three stories. Despite the fact that subtitles were ready for only two of the stories in the international release of the film, the title of the film remains the same. The second story (Monihara-The Lost Jewel) does not feature in the international release, which came out in 1997. However, there are now DVD versions with all three films.
