Ten News

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ten News is the name of Australian television Network Ten's news service. Its one hour flagship bulletin is broadcast at 5:00pm every night, with a separate bulletin for each of the five metropolitan markets. On weekends, Ten News is broadcast at 5.00pm nationally, followed by Sports Tonight at 5.30pm. With the exception of Ten's Late and Weekend News, all Ten bulletins are one hour long.

Other Network Ten news and current affairs programs include Sports Tonight, Meet the Press, and ttn (for children).

In its upgrade to High Definition services, Network Ten now shows a High Definition watermark on Ten HD (Digital Channel 12), with a possible future move to upgrade its news service to full HD.
