The Greens (Hebrew: הירוקים‎, HaYerukim) is a political party in Israel currently headed by Pe'er Visner.

The Greens have never made it into the Knesset, but came extremely close in the 2006 elections, when they won 47,595 votes (1.52% of the total). However, it was not enough to pass the 2% threshold, and they were ultimately the largest party not to make it into the Knesset (Balad with 72,066 votes was the smallest to make it). Especially unfortunate for the party was the fact that the electoral threshold had just been raised, having been 1.5% for the 2003 elections.

The party's cause is not helped by the fact that two other parties campaign on an environmental platform similar to their own. Ale Yarok (Green Leaf), a pro-cannabis legalization and environmental party also claims a green agenda and won 40,353 votes (1.4%, the second largest after the Greens not to make it into the Knesset). The combined total the two parties won was larger than that of Balad and Hadash, and would have won three seats.

Meretz-Yachad, who won five seats, also run on a relatively green platform.
