Here Come the Hawks
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Here Come the Hawks is the official fight song and introduction of the Chicago Blackhawks. The song was written by J. Swayzee and produced by Dick Marx Orchestra and Choir in 1968. It is still played today by Hawks organist Frank Pelico during all Blackhawks games at the United Center.
Here Come the Hawks, the mighty Blackhawks
Take the attack, yeah, and we'll back you Blackhawks
You're flying high now, so let's wrap it up
Let's go you Hawks, move out!
Now all look out, Here Come the Hawks
Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here come the Hawks
Here they come movin', weavin', flyin high and throwin' spray
Blade smackin', stick slashin, tryin' for the play
And the Blackhawks take control!
There's a shot, AND A GOAL![1]
Here Come the Hawks, the mighty Blackhawks
Take the attack, yeah, and we'll back you Blackhawks
You're flying high now, so let's wrap it up
Let's go you Hawks, move out!
Now all look out, Here Come the Hawks
Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here come the Hawks
(instrumental break)
Here Come the Hawks, the mighty Blackhawks
Take the attack, Yeah, and we'll back you Blackhawks
You're flying high now, so let's wrap it up
Let's go you Hawks, move out!
Now all look out, Here Come the Hawks
Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here come the Hawks
