Chelsea and her mother Joni invite Raven to the mother/daughter retreat they have every year. She cringes at the idea of doing something so boring, but when she has a vision of meeting Brent, a cute guy who invites her to a party, she quickly changes her views. Meanwhile, Cory's band, Cory and the Boys, are trying to get a radio host named Mad Money Mitch with the Mighty Mega Mix to hear their music so he can play it on the radio, but Mad Money Mitch with the Mighty Mega Mix is a hip hop DJ. So they have Eddie join their band and change their song, "feeling the love", to hip hop. But later they learn that Mad Money Mitch with the Mighty Mega Mix became a country DJ. So they change the song to country. Little did they know he brought his friends from the hip hop station to hear them play.

  • When Brent invites Chelsea and her mom to the party, her mother says that they are about to scream for inner peace, but then when they close their door, they say they are playing Emotional Charades.
  • At the end of "Hook Up My Space", Victor says that Cory can use Raven's old room for his band, but in this episode he still plays in the living room.

  • This episode was leaked to the internet long before its first airing on Disney Channel.
  • Amy Yasbeck plays Chelsea's mother. This is the first time we see her.
  • This episode features remixed versions of 'Feelin' the Love'. (Hip hop, Country, Scottish)
  • There is a small referance to The Wizard of Oz: when a frozen Raven comes in the house and trys to tell Chelsea and her mom somthing, Chelsea says, "I think she said....oil can?"
