"The Lord's Prayer" is a musical setting of the Lord's Prayer written by Albert Hay Malotte in 1935 and recorded by numerous singers including John Charles Thomas, Perry Como, and Mahalia Jackson. The song's melody is very similar to that of Schubert's "Ave Maria" (a recording of which was issued as the b-side of Como's version).
"The Lord's Prayer" was also recorded by the American pop band The Beach Boys. It was released as the B-side of the "Little Saint Nick" single on 2 December 1963. It was also released on the 1983 compilation album Rarities.
