The 1988 Australian sequel film to the 1982 Australian film "The Man from Snowy River" was given the title of "The Man from Snowy River II" (the title which is still used for the film in Australia).
However, the title was changed for its release in the United States to "Return to Snowy River"
— and the title was changed for its release in the United Kingdom to "The Untamed".
Rreprising their roles from the 1982 film were Tom Burlinson (as "Jim Craig") and Sigrid Thornton (as "Jessica Harrison"), while Brian Dennehy appeared as "Harrison".
