The Next Life is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It is the culmination of the "Divergent Universe" saga.

Contents

Washed up on a beach on a beautiful island, the Eighth Doctor is rescued by a strangely familiar woman named Perfection and begins a journey to discover the dark secret at the heart of his exile to the Divergent Universe — and the return of an old enemy that could hold the key to its end.

This audio play (recorded in 2004) marked the first time that Paul McGann and Daphne Ashbrook had worked together since the 1996 Doctor Who telemovie.
