The Sportsman Channel(TSC) is the only cable network that offers 100 percent hunting and fishing programming, and has an estimated reach of 47 millon viewers. The channel airs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without any infomercials or hobbies such as gold prospecting, RC model racing, motor sports and rodeos.

The network is also offered through their website via online broadcasting or VDC.com, for a monthly fee, with the network's content also distributed through video on demand on affiliated cable systems.

The network publishes a free quarterly magazine which highlights sportsmen stories and new product information. The Sportsman Channel is primarily a cable television network, much like The Discovery Channel, but is also found over several television stations across the Southern United States, and Midwest.
