The Word Network is a Christian "urban religious network" in the United States. It caters to African-Americans and focuses on Urban ministries, Gospel music and family programming. The Word Network launched in February 2000 and is owned and operated by Adell Broadcasting.

The Word Network provides programming that is programmed with the, Urban community in mind. The focus of the network is to feature Urban Ministries, Gospel Music And live church conventions and musical specials and most recently the convocation for the church of God in Christ. The programming covers a broad range of demographics from The teens and young adults with a focus on contemporary Gospel music, to the families seeking values consistently presented in A positive way, to the slightly more mature urban population that relates too many of the popular local, regional and national ministries.” The Word Network" features Bobby Jones who has been on the gospel scene forever. Bobby Jones has revolutionized the Gospel industry. He made it possible for gospel artists to showcase their music videos and he has introduced many gospel artists to the american public. His history is the history of the gospel music category on television. From the early days of his nationally syndicated show to the twenty years on BET to his current new show on The Word Network, Bobby Jones has built an audience for the exciting genre category of Gospel Music. Grammy award winner Bobby Jones brings his high energy and spirit to The Word Network. In addition the network has every major urban ministry. Crefflo Dollar, T.D Jakes, Joyce Meyers, I.V Hilliard, Juanita Bynum, Reverend Jessie Jackson, Ken Copeland and several others. This non-profit network has shown phenomenal growth in the last five years. The Network is now seen by over 55,000,000 viewers weekly, in not only the US but the UK, the Caribbean and Africa. Lewis Gibbs is the President of “The Word Network”. The network was founded by Frank and Kevin Adell a father and son broadcasting team from Detroit Michigan.
