These Are The Days

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

These Are the Days was an animated television series from Hanna-Barbara, originally broadcast on ABC in 1974. The series, although critically acclaimed, only lasted 16 total episodes. Each episode had a run time of 30 minutes.

The show was set during a time of innocence at the turn of the century, in an old town called Elmsville. It portrayed the everyday lives of the Day family, which consisted of a widow and her three children. Each episode featured the various family members and their interaction with friends and neighbors, usually ending with a lesson learned.

The show ran in a similar fashion to the popular television show The Waltons.
