"Think for Yourself" is a song by the 1960s pop group The Beatles which first appeared on the 1965 album Rubber Soul. It is written and sung by George Harrison and is a warning against listening to lies, unlike the misconception that the song is about his then-girlfriend (and later wife) Pattie Boyd. In his book I Me Mine he writes, "But all this time later, I don't quite recall who inspired that tune. Probably the government."
The song is in a key of G major.
The song is famous for its early use of fuzz bass.
