Thomas Waldo Story

Thomas Waldo Story (1855-1915) was an English/American sculptor, art critic, poet and literary editor.

He was the son of William Wetmore Story; he was born in Rome, but raised and educated in England.

In 1883 Thomas Waldo Story married Ada Maud Broadwood (b1856 London,England,) the eldest child of Thomas Capel Broadwood and Mary Davidson Hennin/Hennen/Hennan. Ada Broadwood's paternal grandparents were James Tschudi Broadwood and Sophia Colville, her maternal grandparents were Alfred Hennin/Hennen/Hennan, an American lawyer and jurist in New Orleans, and Ann Maria Davison. Ada Maud Broadwood's Great Grandfather was John Broadwood who founded the London firm of John Broadwood and Sons, maker of pianofortes, with Burkat Tschudi.
