Tin Star is a game for the Super NES that uses the Super Scope, the SNES Mouse, or a standard SNES controller. The game is set in the Ol' West (according to the instruction manual) inhabited by robots, where the main protagonist is a mechanical sheriff called Tin Star. The goal of the game is to shoot all the bandits with the standard SNES controller, Super Scope or the SNES Mouse to clear each stage and prevent Tin Star from receiving too much damage. Depending on the situation, the player can either shoot from a first person perspective or shoot as Tin Star is running.
The game has been listed on the ESRB's website as being a Virtual Console title.
