Tom Borrelli Award

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Tom Borrelli Award is presented by the National Lacrosse League to "the league's most outstanding newspaper writer or columnist"[1]. The award is named for Tom Borrelli, a writer for The Buffalo News. Borrelli has been covering the Buffalo Bandits since 1992, and was inducted into the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame in 2007.

The award was created at the end of the 2005 season. Surprisingly, Borrelli, who still covers the Bandits, has never won the award.
