Tom Boyd

Thomas "Tom" Boyd (born November 24, 1965 in Glasgow) is a former football player. He played for Celtic, Motherwell and Chelsea. He also gained 72 caps for Scotland and is a member of the Scotland Football Hall of Fame.

He was comfortable with the ball on either foot in any position in defence, a rare and valuable commodity in football.

He scored an own goal while playing for Scotland against Brazil in the opening match of the 1998 World Cup.
