The Lovers are a British punk rock band formed by Tom Hingley with Steve Hanley and Paul Hanley, both former members of The Fall, and Jason Brown and Kelly Wood. Tom Hingley is best known as the lead vocalist of the band Inspiral Carpets. Their first album, Abba Are The Enemy, was released in 2004. Their follow up album (title unknown) is due for release in 2007
